Story
Two guys. Two fishing rods. And a shared dream. Before we became The Salty Twins, we were just two boys - Tony & Ricky - born & raised in Henderson, Nevada. Growing up we constantly craved adventure and actively sought out those experiences, but our love for fishing? Now that was something we didn’t discover until later on; completely unaware that our childhood memories would lead us towards fulfilling our deep sea of dreams.
It all began during our grade school years when our mom would wake up at the crack of dawn and drive us down to Lake Mead. She’d be busy laying on the bank while us boys explored the area, chased lizards, and participated in other outdoor shenanigans. And as we grew, so did our curiosity of what lived underneath the water. Slowly but surely we started to bring fishing gear down to Hole 33 - right where mom always took us - and eventually taught ourselves how to fish.
While one of us was more disciplined than the other (we’ll let you figure out who was who), we soon found ourselves traveling to California and gravitating towards the pull of the sea. We’d cast lines, talk tuna, speak on our dreams of traveling the world and learning how to spearfish, and before we even knew it, The Salty Twins brand was brought to life.
